Rose 'Dede' Nini

"Dede" founded Sage Works Consulting after a long career at Mercer County Community College (MCCC). While at MCCC, she developed and served as dean of the Division of Corporate and Community Programs, dean of the Division of Planning and Program, and Executive Director of the College’s Foundation. Prior to joining the College, Dede worked at the NJ Department of Labor where she developed the state's first Small Business Development Program.
A magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University, Dede has a Master’s degree from Central Michigan University and a diploma from Harvard’s Institute for Management of Lifelong Education. She has served on the Executive Board of the Greater Mercer Chamber of Commerce and was the founding board member of Junior Achievement of Mercer County and the founder and president of the Continuing Education Officers of NJ Community Colleges. She was appointed by the NJ Governor’s Office to serve on the state's Women's Business Advisory Council and on the NJ Banking Commission.
In addition to her current service on the Boards of Womanspace, Kidsbridge and the Mercer County Commission of Abused, Neglected and Missing Children, she has served on the Central Jersey March of Dimes, Opera NJ, Princeton Area Alumni Board of Directors as well as other organizations.
Dede has received a number of honors for her contributions including a Tribute to Women in Industry Award from the Trenton YWCA and a Tribute to Women Award from the Princeton YWCA; the National Person of the Year Exemplary Service Award from the National Council of Community Colleges; the Make a Difference Award from CONTACT of Mercer County; a National Award for Distinguished Service from the US SBA and a Special Service Award from the NJ SBA; and the Busy Person Award from the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce.
