Kidsbridge is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bullying prevention, character education, tolerance and the celebration of human diversity. The Kidsbridge Tolerance Center located in Ewing, NJ, is an interactive training and educational learning lab that focuses on exploring what youth and educators can do to impede bullying, racism and prejudice in their schools and communities.
Kidsbridge also provides weekly pro-social life skill programs for elementary and middle school youth in Trenton public schools, reaching an additional 100 students each year. Other programs include: an annual competition for outstanding educators in character education and many statewide competitions for youth.
Each year more than 2,500 students and educators participate in our evidence-based "center experience." In educating youth, we also re-energize teachers and counselors to reinforce positive behavior in the areas of empathy, diversity appreciation, respect, bullying prevention, character education and pro-social skills. Since 2006, more than 19,500 youth and their educators have visited the Center – improving our youth's ability to be UPStanders.. "stand up and speak out."
